course develops your creativity, critical thinking ability, and communication skills which you need in academic and professional life. This interdisciplinary course focuses on creative writing, intensive study of literary genres and emphasizes on interpretive and cultural theories. Participatory and inquiry-based pedagogy is applied for effective teaching and learning at MMC Dharan.
Eligibility
Students holding a bachelor’s degree in English from any university recognized by Tribhuvan University shall be considered eligible to apply for admission to M.A. English program.
Admission Procedure
An applicant seeking admission must take Entrance Examination as required by the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Admissions will be based strictly on merit.

2. MA Economics
MA Economics is a two year Master’s level program conducted over 4 semesters.
Eligibility
You must have completed Bachelor level (B.A or B. Ed) with major subject as Economics or equivalent level of education from Tribhuvan University or any institution recognized by Tribhuvan University. For student willing to pursue economics from Science or Management faculty, bachelor level degree is needed in their respective field.
Admission Procedure

3. MA (Political Science)
MA (Political Science) program offered at MMC, Dharan aims to build your both theoretical and practical base of knowledge on politics and sub disciplines of political science. This program prepares you not only for a political leadership, but also makes you competent and fit to pursue career as a political specialist, educator, researcher, policy maker, public relation specialist etc.
Eligibility
Bachelors Degree from Tribhuvan University (TU) or any university recognized by TU.
Admission Procedure
The applicant must appear for an entrance examination conducted by Tribhuvan University.

4. MA Nepali
This course makes you capable of understanding the basics of Nepali language and develops efficient human resource that have an ability to uplift the Nepali language and literature to the phenomenal height.
Eligibility
A student having Bachelor Degree in Nepali from TU or from board/ institution/ university recognized by TU in any stream is eligible in appearing in entrance.
Admission Procedure
The students must have to appear in entrance exam conducted in order to get admission in semester system. The merit list is published afterwards. For getting admission in yearly examination system, there is no provision of Entrance.
